However, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness shocked audiences when John Krasinski cameoed as Earth-838’s Mister Fantastic. Whether that means he will be playing the role in the main continuity on Earth-616 or it was a just a fun cameo, like his fellow Illuminati members, this reignited fans’ passion and interest in seeing the Fantastic Four soon, with some taking to Reddit to share their theories for how the team could be integrated and utilized....

Gemma Chan is playing Sersi in Eternals, with Barry Keoghan set to play Druig. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding in major ways. After eleven years of the Infinity Saga, MCU Phase 4 is set to introduce a plethora of new characters and franchise to keep the universe fresh. Marvel Comics has just announced their youngest superhero team Power Pack will be receiving a new five-issue miniseries scheduled for April 2020. The series, written by Squirrel Girl writer Ryan North and artist Nico Leon, will emerge out of Marvel’s Outlawed, banning teenage vigilantes. While Power Pack members Alex and Julie have remained in the comic book spotlight through supporting roles in Runaways and Future Foundation, this miniseries will be the first time in years the entire Power family has reunited in the present-day Marvel Universe....

While the MCU’s Infinity Saga told the story of the six original Avengers, the new saga beginning with Phase Four will focus on the next generation of Earth’s mightiest heroes, led by Doctor Strange trying to keep the ever-expanding multiverse under as much control as possible and Captain Marvel bringing peace to the farthest reaches of outer space. In the characters’ Phase Three introductions, Benedict Cumberbatch and Brie Larson quickly made icons out of Stephen Strange and Carol Danvers, respectively, but while they turned out to be the perfect choices for their roles, they weren’t Marvel’s only choices to play them....

The X-Men have unwisely resurrected the most dangerous Omega mutant of all. Omega level mutants are the most powerful of them all, with powersets that appear to have no discernible limit. Marvel’s traditionally been wary of defining the term - at least until the Jonathan Hickman run. Hickman’s X-Men relaunch has seen the mutants establish a home on the living island of Krakoa. There, Xavier is using cloning to swiftly replenish mutant numbers, and he’s particularly interested in the Omegas....

One of the reasons that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been so successful is because the movies don’t take themselves too seriously. While DC has always been dark and serious, for the most part, Marvel’s movies have been lighter and allowed for plenty of comedy.
