Marvel Studios is misusing the best villains from Captain America’s rogues’ gallery by giving them to other heroes in the MCU. Master Z delivers its fair share of pulpy entertainment and stylish martial arts fights without bringing anything particularly fresh to the genre. Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb is reportedly leaving the company in the wake of Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige taking control of Marvel TV and comics. When Marvel Entertainment was originally acquired by Disney in 2009, all divisions - film, TV and comics - were under CEO Ike Perlmutter. But in 2015, Marvel Studios split off, with studio chief Feige answering directly to Walt Disney Studios heads Alan Horn and Alan Bergman, while the TV arm stayed under Perlmutter’s purview....

On the finale of The Masked Singer, there was a double elimination in order to crown the winner. The runners up were Flamingo and Rottweiler, who were unmasked. It was revealed on Wednesday night’s finale that the Flamingo is none other than The Real co-host and former Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon. Rottweiler was revealed to be American Idol’s season 5 runner up and Billboard chart-topping rocker, Chris Daughtry. Whether Apple has plans to expand Apple TV+ with live sports has been a common debate over the last two years. A new report from the Athletic today rounds up commentary from top media analysts on the potential for Apple TV+ to add NFL content. The report explains that the NFL is on the verge of having to renew “most if not all of its media contracts.” While it appears that the Monday Night Football package is likely to remain with ESPN, there are other deals to consider, including NFL Sunday Ticket and Thursday Night Football....

“The weaponisation of people’s private information in an effort to extort payment is malicious and an attack on the most vulnerable members of our community,” Medibank CEO David Koczkar said in a statement Thursday. “The release of this stolen data on the dark web is disgraceful.” The company urged the public against downloading the data, which hackers last week had threatened to begin releasing on the forum. Reports have pegged ransom demands upwards of $10 million, or $1 for each compromised customer account....
