The Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently preparing for its highly anticipated phase 4, which will have both new and old characters, and is the perfect opportunity to bring back a villain that didn’t have a good introduction: Ultron. The MCU’s first three phases, collectively known as the Infinity saga, came to an end with Spider-Man: Far From Home after reaching its peak with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The latter marked the end of the arcs of most of the original Avengers, and Spider-Man: Far From Home gave viewers a taste of what the MCU looks like post-Avengers and post-final snap....

Marvel releases the first The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki footage in an MCU Disney+ teaser trailer during Super Bowl LIV. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will mark the first MCU show to premiere on Disney+, followed by WandaVision later in 2020, then Loki in Spring 2021. Marvel chief Kevin Feige confirmed The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s 2020 release date at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, where he was joined by the show’s two stars, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan....

A recent photo with cast members from Eternals has sparked speculation that Legion’s Dan Stevens may have joined the ensemble. Directed by Chloé Zhao, Eternals will be the second movie in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a November 2020 release date. Marvel Studios finally confirmed this summer that Eternals is happening, with the movie heavily featured at both San Diego Comic-Con and D23. Marvel’s Ghost Rider live-action TV show is no longer happening at Hulu. Marvel TV has been growing their library of content and spreading across multiple platforms over the last few years. While ABC and Netflix were their primary homes at first, Hulu has since become a major player in Marvel TV’s future. They have the third season of Runaways coming at the end of this year, are developing The Offenders’ animated universe, and most recently were said to be bringing Ghost Rider back to the screen....

Marvel has unveiled the trailer and synopsis for its next big event, Secret Empire, pitting Captain America against the other heroes of the Marvel Comics Universe. Marvel have been slowly planting the seeds for the shocking reveal of Captain America’s new history, after stunning the world last year with the reveal that Cap was secretly working for Hydra. The Secret Empire story will see writer Nick Spencer pull together the threads he’s been establishing since he began working on Sam Wilson: Captain America and which really kicked off in Avengers: Standoff!...

The recent surprise announcement of Marvel Future Revolution, a new mobile RPG from Netmarble, was actually planned since the game was teased 5 years ago at Marvel Future Fight’s launch. Future Fight was a mobile RPG with a rich variety of playable characters. That game was also developed by Netmarble, and it offered plenty of available superheroes and villains with an emphasis on different cosmetics and visual representations of famous comic book icons....

Mutants are coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it’s possible that they may not use the X-Men name. After several years of separation, the Marvel Universe is going to become unified on the big screen in the near future, with Marvel Studios confirming that mutants will join the MCU. But a time frame for when that will happen hasn’t been provided yet. Of course, this was no huge surprise, as the Disney/Fox deal, which was officially completed in early 2019, gave the X-Men and Fantastic Four movie rights back to Marvel....
