Marvel announced a major X-Men crossover starting in July titled X of Swords. The storyline will be the first crossover event in the Dawn of X era that began in July 2019 and celebrate the relaunch’s one-year anniversary. The event will take place over fifteen issues and be written by every author currently involved in the X-Men franchise. The announcement came at the C2E2 comics convention’s X-Men panel on Friday. Marvel teased a major reveal on Twitter with an image resembling a sword with an X for a crossguard and the word “July” in the alphabet of the Krakoan language spoken by mutants....
The 2010s featured a slew of heavy hitters coming out on the comic book market but nothing was bigger than Star Wars. The decade saw DC publish Detective Comics #1000 and a handful of #1 issues from all different publishers hit the top-100 list. However, Marvel’s Star Wars #1 reigned supreme as the top-selling single issue from 2010 to the end of 2019. It comes as little surprise Marvel’s Star Wars #1 by Jason Aaron, John Cassady, and Laura Martin ranks above its competition as the best-selling issue of the decade according to PREVIEWSworld....
Update: It has since been reported that Kevin Feige only meant LGBTQ characters, not transgender ones in particular, will soon appear in the MCU. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige promises that a transgender character will arrive very soon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The company has committed to reaching out to more diverse audiences by including more diverse characters in its big-budget films, and so far, that commitment has paid off....
Marvel’s Immortal Hulk has enjoyed breakout success critically and on the stands, thanks to its unique vision of the Hulk that transcends the character’s usual trappings, and enters the realm of cosmic horror. While the main title has been relatively self-contained, Marvel has announced several Immortal Hulk one-shots that will give writers other than Immortal’s Al Ewing the chance to explore the diabolical “Devil Hulk” persona in stand-alone stories. That includes a story where the Devil Hulk persona passes on to Spider-Man....

Deadpool 2 director David Leitch has said that the character’s big-screen adventures don’t necessarily have to be rated R, fueling speculation about how the character might fit into one of the MCU’s PG-13 movies....
Marvel Studios’ Eternals could explain why multiple Infinity Stones were on Earth. Following the reveal of Thanos in the mid-credits scene of The Avengers, Marvel had to begin figuring out a plan to bring him to the screen. This involved making the Infinity Stones - his prized possessions - interwoven into the mythology of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanks to some minor retcons, they had four of the six Infinity Stones introduced by the end of Phase 2....
Married at First Sight star Jamie Thompson recently admitted that he wishes he could start over with his wife Elizabeth Bice. He said he’d do things a lot differently on the reality TV show. Married at First Sight is a Lifetime reality show that brings together two complete strangers - deemed compatible by the show’s “relationship experts” - who’ve agreed to marry each other on the spot. These brand new couples then spend their wedding night in a hotel together before going on their honeymoon, then live together as a married couple for eight weeks before deciding whether or not they want to divorce or stay married....
Martin Scorsese is considered one of the all-time best filmmakers to ever work in and out of Hollywood.
