Yesterday the white hat security group OurMine claimed responsibility for taking over the verified Twitter accounts of Marvel, The Avengers, Ant-Man, Captain America, Tony Stark and the unverified account of Incredible Hulk. So, now Avengers are getting hacked. OurMine had some records of hacking Twitter accounts as we mentioned above. However, they did not harm and only laughed at the weak security system of the impacted companies....

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set to finally introduce Iron Man’s most iconic villain, The Mandarin, to the MCU, but Shang-Chi’s greatest enemy, Fu Manchu, will be nowhere in sight. Why? Because Marvel no longer owns the rights to the character. Mandarin is replacing Fu Manchu as his primary antagonist and possibly as his father as well. In 1992, Stan Lee and John Byrne attempted to collaborate on a new comic book called Ravage 2099, exploring the future of the Marvel Universe. The project fell through, but Lee was still enthusiastic about the idea, and Marvel’s editors agreed. The Marvel 2099 range was set in a high-tech dystopian future bereft of superheroes, and it allowed veteran comic book writers to create a new world populated by distorted versions of classic characters....

Twitter’s Periscope app may have taken a lot of the attention from Meerkat after the live video streaming competitor launched, but the first live streaming service to capture everyone’s attention this year isn’t giving up yet. Meerkat announced an interesting partnership with GoPro today at VidCon, CNBC says. The partnership will allow GoPro users to live stream on the Meerkat service using action cameras. Previously streaming was limited to using either the front or rear smartphone camera so adding GoPro cameras as a source should result in some interesting streams for viewers....

From the get go, the Marvel/Netflix deal involved an eventual convergence of their popular live-action heroes in Marvel’s Defenders team-up, which began filming last October. Marvel announced this week that the Angélique Roché-hosted podcast is being developed into its own comic series, giving fans a closer look at the Marvel Universe. Debuting back in April 2018, Roché’s interview series has looked at both the Marvel comics, animation, games, and television world. She’s featured interviews with unique, diverse voices, like Mariko Tamaki (X-23), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist) and Saladin Ahmed (Black Bolt)....
